I suppose this is where I write something clever, poetic, or otherwise emotionally transparent...but to be brutally honest...I have neither the energy, nor the desire to contrive any of the above. I'm far to complex and deep to be reduced to mere words floating in the vast whirling void of cyberspace... ...or too boring
(Feel free to ask me any questions you may have)
1.Is the universe finite or infinite in extent and content? 2.Is it eternal or does it have a beginning? 3.Was it created? If not, how did it get here? If so, how was this creation accomplished and what can we learn about the agent and events of creation? 4.Who or what governs the laws and constants of physics? Are such laws the product of chance or have they been designed? How do they relate to the support and development of life? 5.Is there any knowable existence beyond the known dimensions of the universe? 6.Is the universe running down irreversibly or will it bounce back? *The Big Bang The idea that the universe had a specific time of origin has been philosophically resisted by some very distinguished scientists. We could begin with Arthur Eddington, who experimentally confirmed Einstein's general theory of relativity in 1919. He stated a dozen years later: "Philosophically, the notion of a beginning to the present order is repugnant to me and I should like to find a genuine loophole." He later said, "We must allow evolution an infinite amount of time to get started." Time is that dimension in which cause and effect phenomena take place. . . . If time's beginning is concurrent with the beginning of the universe, as the space-time theorem says, then the cause of the universe must be some entity operating in a time dimension completely independent of and pre-existent to the time dimension of the cosmos. This conclusion is powerfully important to our understanding of who God is and who or what God isn't. It tells us that the creator is transcendent, operating beyond the dimensional limits of the universe. It tells us that God is not the universe itself, nor is God contained within the universe. In the very beginning, there was a void, a curious form of vacuum, a nothingness containing no space, no time, no matter, no light, no sound. Yet the laws of nature were in place and this curious vacuum held potential. A story logically begins at the beginning, but this story is about the universe and unfortunately there are no data for the very beginnings--none, zero. We don't know anything about the universe until it reaches the mature age of a billion of a trillionth of a second. That is, some very short time after creation in the big bang. When you read or hear anything about the birth of the universe, someone is making it up--we are in the realm of philosophy. Only God knows what happened at the very beginning.
*There will be paths presented to you where neither one will lead to fulfillment, but there's no way of knowing whether or not you will attain some pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, or if it will simply be the end of your path. *People will come and go in your life, but it doesn't mean that everyone has to disappear forever once they go. Keep them deep in your heart, if they're true blue then they'll do the same for you. Dream about them at night when they aren't with you in attempts to fill the void that they left. It may not be enough, but it will get you through the day; isn't that all we're looking for? *Sometimes people don't do things because they're kind or because they want you to feel better, some times they do it to save face...hell the majority of the times they do it to save face. People want to look good in front of others, and if that means acting sincere about something for a few moments only to never speak to you again, then they'll do so. *People will claim to be your friends, but when tragedy befalls you is when you find out who your true friends are. *There are times where you will look back on situations and wonder what you should have done, wonder what could have happened had you done differently...don't. Looking back doesn't solve anything, all it does is make you more surprised when the present comes flying back at you like a barreling freight train with the future following close behind. *Without the foundation, a house will never be able to stand. You can have a fireplace, beautiful wooden floors, spiral staircases leading up into your million dollar bedroom, but without the foundation all you have is wasted potential. You are your own foundation. All of the friends in the world can't help you if you don't want to help yourself. *When people tell you "Everything happens for a reason", it's a lie. Look at your life, look at other peoples lives. Unexplainable things happen in life, there is no greater scheme that somehow justifies the suffering of one human being for another. Just because a baby is born the instant another human dies doesn't mean it's a direct reaction of the death. Just because John decided to shoot James doesn't mean that John will get his comeuppance before he's buried six feet beneath the ground. *Never in your life will "Everything Be Alright." *Almost everybody in this world has something wrong with them. There isn't a single soul out there that isn't upset over something, regretting some words that they spoke to a girl/boy of whom they were under the impression that they were in love with. When you're lying all alone in your spot of serenity and feel like there is nobody out there in the world who understands you, remember that millions of people in the world at that exact point in time are feeling the exact same thing. Whether you be a manic depressive, clinically depressed, or bi-polar no amount of medication can save you from this world. It's a messed up place and that's a known fact, the only thing we can do is accept that fact and do our best to persevere. *Most importantly, life is too short. We've got a hundred years or less on this world and we're all out to make our name in some way or another; we're all just carving out our names on trees, hoping to god that somebody comes by and sees it. Success may be something to strive for, but I'd rather be happy than rich. Live while you can. Love with every fiber of your being, apologize when you regret hurting somebody, if you've got something to say then say it, treat every moment like it may be your last. This is the life that we've been handed; it's like a lump of clay, you've got two hands and an imagination so make something of it.
