We hail from the little town of Granby, Connecticut. Home of the World Famous Cambridge Brew Pub and of Jesse Camp (former MTV VJ and friend of our Drummer Steven Sessions). It all started in grade Dave, Tim, Ted started hanging out..Little League, Soccer, Misquamicut Beach, Rhode Island. Dave had a REMO drum set that sounded more like a popcorn machine..we eventually convinced him to buy a microphone, Ted reluctantly sold his dinky reverse scalloped fret guitar for a 5-String Bass, and Tim wrote music and waited patiently for us to evolve. When David's little brother Steven picked up the drums, we finally felt like we had something. We played out as 'Fireant' for a few years...but in 2000 Edwin "Kong" Chan Joined us on Lead guitar and we have been opening for other bands and vaulting material. Dave and Steven met the guys from Alterbridge in Hartford, Ct at the Webster Theatre and haven't been the same since. Those guys are great! Perhaps one day we will have the chance to hand Myles, Mark and the boys our demo..then perhaps the vault will be opened. Treeforts and Trampolines depicts small town life and our roots.
