Residing in today's society could be a stressful environment. Every day we have a lot to complete and our jobs and chores can occasionally make us feel low. Often people may turn to unhealthy solutions for example alcohol or other drugs to flee or help them feel good. It is easy to turn to such unhealthy solutions as they are methods that society has subliminally taught us and promoted. How many times have you ever heard from somebody that was upset; "I am off and away to the pub" or "I actually need a cigarette". These kinds of behaviour have become common in the current society which is a really sad situation. Even on television the most popular remedy for the blues would be to turn to alcohol there are countless movies where a sad person turns to drink, cigarettes or drugs. There are numerous efficient ways to relieve stress in healthy ways. One of my favourite methods to relieve stress is to look at funny or hilarious pictures. You will find literally hundreds of websites available that have great collections of very funny pictures that may cheer you as much as a massive array. A well known favourite of many individuals would be to take a look at funny animal pictures with captions. The cuteness of the animal combined with funny caption attached to it has always been a good recipe to create someone smile. Simply looking at some funny pictures for thirty minutes can really help elevate and change your mood.
It's very easy to get caught up in with our stress and soldiering on and never taking any time to live in. This can eventually lead to more problems by enhancing the harshness of the problem and could even result in a mental break up. We sometimes need to forget about our problems and realise that things will eventually pass. Hold that smile for at least Ten seconds and you will notice that you are feeling much better than you probably did before you decide to smiled. Isn't it strange that such a simple thing as using certain muscles within our face could make us feel so different.
In conclusion you should smile and be happy as it can certainly cause a chain reaction. When were happy we smile so when we smile we're feeling happier. Sometimes it is just a case of 'breaking the smile barrier' and getting those first few initial smiles in to set us off on a good foot.
