UK based pop-rock group You Me At Six will release their debut album, Take Off Your Colours, via Epitaph Records on July 21. Previously released in the UK, the album will be available for the first time in the US, just in time for the band's run on this summer's Vans Warped Tour.
Named one of Alternative Press magazine's "100 Bands You Need To Know," the Kerrang! cover boys have been building monumental traction since the release of Take Off Your Colours in the UK. You Me At Six's revival of fun-loving, care-free, spirited pop-rock is infectious and spreads with each listen. Fans fall fast for both the band's teen-relevant lyrics of heartache, bad breakups, and jealousy, and the non-stop rockfest of single-worthy sing-alongs like "Gossip," "Save It For The Bedroom," "Take Off Your Colours," "If I Were In Your Shoes" and "Finders Keepers" (available exclusively on the re-release). Take Off Your Colours proves without a doubt You Me At Six has the ability to craft some of the catchiest pop-rock anthems in today's music scene.
The re-release of Take Off Your Colours is only the beginning for You Me At Six. Following a slew of European festival dates including Rock Am Ring and Download Festival, the band will come to the US for the last three weeks of the Vans Warped Tour in August.
