You before me is Serving others. It is short, but right to the point. We are more than just some other band in todays ever popular music scene. We are a band with not just a mission, but a calling. This calling is not to play music or to perform for people. It is a calling to serve others through the gifts and opportunities that God has blessed You before me with. God has laid it upon us, as brothers in Christ, to show the people we come in contact with love through a servants heart; as the Lord himself showed a lost and dying world of his day.

A servants heart is the foundation that You before me stands upon each time they enter into performance. Each time a person answers a call to ministry a mission field is laid upon their heart to serve in. Our mission does not being when we step on stage. Our mission field begins before we even step foot on stage. The mission existence is found not in our words, but in our actions. We believe that each time we enter into performance, whether it is in a bar or a church, that the love of Christ should be seen in every part of You before me.

You before me is not worried about our success as musicians. The world today has a very distorted view of success and we have decided not to give into the worlds ideas of success. We believe that our success came when we as individuals came together to answer the call of Christ on our lives, and our level of success will continue to grow each time we do as God has instructed us to do every single day. We are not concerned with record deals and album sales. Our main concern is getting Gods message out to as many people as he allows us to.
You Before Me is serving others no matter the cost.

You before me consists of Kory Hamlin on lead vocals and rhythm guitar, Rob Dunning on lead guitar, Chris McNeese on drums, Sid Curtis on keys and Mark Williams on bass. Since August of 02 they have toured many states and are continually building a loyal fan base. You before me has shared the stage with both Christian and secular artists such as Trapt, Radial Angel, The Afters, Kingsdown, After the Tragedy, The New Ending, Jonah 33 and Deas Vail. The band pulls in from all different styles of music to create their own genre of Pop/Rock. Powerful and inspiring lyrics drive You before me's message. With a good blend of catchy guitar riffs and melodic piano styles, You before me is creating their own must-hear sound.
