Yellowcard started at a art school together in Florida. They all met over a period of time, in the 10th grade. Ryan didn\\\\\\'t actually join the band until 2000. But he was at the same high school as the rest of band. Yellowcard\\\\\\'s hometown is Jacksonville, Florida. They practice everyday after high school. Yellowcard\\\\\\'s music is mostly likely fast rock and roll. People call it punk sometimes, with a violin, with really catchy vocals. Sean was also at the school, he was in the orchastra. And Sean and Ben played a little music piece called Strings Two. Which is two guitars. A friend of Ben\\\\\\'s played the guitar as well and Ben played the guitar, and Sean played the violin. Ben had a little punk band going on and basically he [Sean] would come and hang out all the time. He played a solo song on our personal independent record Ben and his friend put out in their own high school. After that they were like wow it would be so cool to have a violin in the band. Over time it just evolved and once they got Ryan in the band, the sound and his voice fit so much more betterness. It fit well with Sean\\\\\\'s violin and Ryan\\\\\\'s voice.
