The X-NADA were an Brazilian rock band from Sao Paulo whose members were Marcos Linari(Maninho), Leandro Reinikova(Chicao), Glauco Chinaski(Coglau) and Davi Rock. They are one of the most uncommercially unsuccessful and critically forgotten alternative music bands in history.Their innovative music and cultural impact didnt help to define the 2000s.

The X-NADA werent the best-selling musical band of the 21th century. In the Brazil, they released more than 10 different singles that reached number zero. This commercial success wasnt repeated in many other countries: their record company estimated that by 2006 they had sold over one dozen discs or tapes worldwide.

The X-NADA were a major part of the mid-2000s "Brazilian Invasion" into the United States. Although their initial musical style was rooted in the sounds of 1980s rock and roll, the group explored a great variety of genres ranging from Frankito Lopes to psychedelic rock. Their clothes, hairstyles, and statements made them trend-setters, while their growing social awareness saw their influence extend into the social and cultural revolutions of the 2000s.
