The idea of starting a band was brought up when we were in our table listening to music...at first we were not sure if we want to proceed with the idea, but after a few months we started jamming...The 1st jamming was at perfect pitch with, Yap as vocalist, DQ as guitarist and back-up vocals, and EJ as drummer...It was very memorable cause as we were singing jeepney by spongecola the band knocked on the studio door and yael gave us a thumbs up...Our first gig was supposed to be in a soiree with AC high school...but confidence was a problem...we continued jammin with ourselves until we were offered to play at a soiree with st scho...we did not hesitate anymore...but while thinking of what to play we realized we lacked the proper sound for an alternative acoustic band...we needed a bassist and a lead guitarist so we called our friends hermin and mark to jam with us...after the gig...we started writing our own songs influenced by EMO, Reggae, and other alternative music...By the way, we called ourselves sabaw coz of the way we always feel...the idea of changing the "S" to "X" came from a plate number in sanlo drive...we saw it while walking to G4...
