On the cusp of revival, the Husband\\Wife duo Wur'ship Project opens the floodgates of their hearts and beckons us to open ours. Their lyrics linger and leave the ears and the heart longing for more. Hailing from the heartland of Kansas, Jeremy & Kaci Neely offer much of what is lacking in Christian music today: humility of heart. Wp speaks from the depths and offers truth found in searching the Scriptures and coming to terms with personal experiences. In Falling Down, a new ballad from Jeremy Neely, he confesses, How beautiful it is to fall down. This duo seeks to be a blessing and pass that blessing on to others. They bring a peace to venues that transcends the norm; a peace that comes when one accepts the call and allows that call to become a driving passion. Wanting to journey closer to Gods heart and recognizing that God has called them out, we who hear their music cannot help but allow Wp's words to challenge us to be more than we are in hopes of becoming all God calls us to be.

How do you start in on a topic like this without just coming out and saying it. Over the course of the next couple months Kaci and I are going to be taking on a new identity. When the new year roles around we will put Wur'ship Project aside and begin to be known as NEELY.
This is an exciting time yet emotions run the gamut. For nearly a decade now we've been known as Wur'ship Project and that is a comfortable place to find oneself. However, there are opportunities that are constantly being presented to us that we cannot fulfill with the name of Wur'ship Project.
So in the coming year check out http://www.neelymusic.com for updates and join our myspace and facebook pages. Right now that address points to a half finished MySpace page, but in the coming months we hope to have that redesigned and further yet have a full blown website.
You all have been so instrumental in the success we've had and we hope that you'll continue to partner with us in this endeavor to reach even more people with our music.
Thanks again for all you do!

Our new tracks we recorded in Nashville are available for purchase exclusively through our website. We are excited to try a new form of digital distribution called Drop Cards. A drop card looks and feels like a credit card, only it has our logo on the front and on the back is a unique access code. Here's how it works:
- Go to http://www.wurship.com and click on "Merchandise", "Digital Music", add "The Zod Archives" to your cart, and then follow through to check out.
- We send you your Drop Card of "The Zod Archives" in the mail
- Once again go to http://www.wurship.com this time click on "Media"
- Enter the unique access code on the back of your Drop Card.
- Follow the instructions to download the 4 MP3 files.
- From there you can import the MP3 files into iTunes or Windows Media Player and burn CDs or import them into your MP3 player.
We are selling the Drop Cards for $10 to help us raise money to go back to Nashville to finish recording. The Drop Card is also a coupon for $5 off the upcoming album, so you'll want to hang on to it. These 4 tracks are only available through our website or our Merchandise Table at our concerts via Drop Cards.
Because I know you are asking, we named the Drop Cards "The Zod Archives" as a salute to our friends Tom, Brett, and Todd at Zodlounge Music Productions. These guys did an amazing job on these recordings and have encouraged us more than we could ever explain. More than that they have become true friends which is so rare!

Have you ever had the feeling of being "on the verge"? Standing at the edge of all that God has created us to be is an overwhelming place. We're going through a gamut of emotions on the eve of our trip to Nashville to begin recording.
Neither Kaci or myself can remember a time in our lives that we didn't dream of this. Granted, it wasn't until I was 21 years old that I began to take guitar lessons. Shoot, up to that point I didn't even have a guitar that was worth a hoot. For Kaci, she may have been in High School Choir, but she never sang solo until 2003 when she stepped out to begin singing "Peace Be Still".
In the coming week we are going to do our best to give you the inside scoop as we record 4 songs in Nashville. We will be working with Brett Vargason, Todd Shay, and one other fellow (we'll post his name later...sorry!) at their studio production company called Zodlounge. Hopefully we'll be faithful to taking pictures and videos to post on the blog as well.
Here's the address of our blog: http://wurshipproject.blogspot.com
Thanks to all of you that have made this possible! We'll work hard to make you all proud!

The last few months has been one of the toughest times for me. This region we are in is dead. I struggle with the words because I don't want to come off too sharply or even sound like I'm "Holier than thou". It is as if people in the Church here are in a comatose state and what's worse is they are in this incapacitated state and going out telling people "you gotta have what I have...this Jesus is so cool". Why would anyone want what we are showing on a daily basis? We are living no differently!
To get groups to work together for the Kingdom is like pulling teeth. Even within those groups (Churches) we are fragmented. We have all these rules and regulations to "strain a gnat" but we are empty and comatose.
If we are the body, then something is wrong. It's as if the body is working to destroy itself! The limbs are flailing around wildly and helplessly. We look nothing like the Jesus that is historically portrayed in Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. Matter of fact, we look more like the religious elite that killed Him and persecuted the Disciples.
My encouragement in this is that I've been blessed to be able to meet with a few others who have seen this (and I mean few!). Not only that, but they are ready to dig down deep to live out a life of worship, a life imitating Jesus. Though this journey seems daunting and seemingly impossible, they have a fight in them that has encouraged me.
Will we stand with these warriors as well? Will we lay down our lives, our wants, our passions for the glory of God? We must realize what we were truly created to be. This is the only way this world will change, and at that it will only happen one person at a time. And that person is the person sitting right beside us! Welcome to the mission field!
We must fight our passions and take on the life of Jesus Christ!
