Consiting of two core members of hardcore punk act Burnt Beyond Recognition, Witness the Undefined is an experimental heavy band out of Iowa City, IA, with no intentions of doing anything but making music (not necessarily money). They have been described as 'If Robot Chicken were music", "Michael J. Fox-core", and "if ee cummings were in a metal band". Abandoning the traditional verse-chorus-verse rules of rock/pop music, Witness attempts to write songs with unpredictability; a sort of music for people who LISTEN to music, instead of music as a background noise. Witness the Undefined is Joe on drums, Luke on metal guitar, Preston on bass, and Shane on weird guitar...all 4 share the task of vocals.
