Formed in early 2003 Without Eyes represent a solid working unit of seasoned musicians who simply enjoy writing songs together. From the first practice it became apparent that musical tastes within the group were quite diverse, but rather than becoming an obstacle, this has led to a more unique and exciting marriage of ideas within the material produced to date. Some fourteen months after its inception the band began gigging in ernest around the Nottingham circuit Since then they have gone on to play such venues as Rock City, Junktion 7, The Rescue Rooms, Derbys Old Vic and the illustrious Old Angel. Having shared a stage with the likes of My War, Army of Flying Robots, Spirytus, Helvis, Sanzen, Patchwork Grace, and many other up and coming artists; the band have honed their live act into an extremely tight and energetic display that has been well recieved to steadily swelling numbers. Entering the studio in late Feburary 2005, the band, still a five piece at this time, recorded their first three track e.p at Fame Factory studios. A second release was then recorded a year later at Paper Stone studios as the band began searching for a suitable place to record the album which they are currently writing. Completion dates for the nine tracks are estimated for late June to early July, with a plan to release the album via an independent distributor early the following year. This will hopefully coincide with a two week UK tour to promote the launch. The band is still seeking backing for production and distribution and is in contact with venues and bands in preperation for the up coming summer dates.
