Winter Dust formed in september 2003 as an AFI cover band. In 2004 their debut l.p. Delicate clearly showed their previous influences although their approach was becoming more hardcore. After tow long years of silence, in summer 2007 Winter Dust recorded "our Dresses on the Floor" a peculiar mixture of dark punk, hardcore, post rock and emoviolence, inserting the piano as a fix part of the line up.
Winter Dust broke up in February 2008 and reformed in November 2008 with a new bassplayer, drummer and solo guitarist. In july 2009 they published "Colours of the post-storm" renovating their sound.
