"When you finally get your head around Winslow's metallic-hardcore blitzkrieg, you start to realize, that's some pretty impressive musicianship these dudes are throwing down - no surprise, then, that the quintet formed while studying music at Duquesne University. 'We make a conscious attempt to find a balance between musical complexity and listenability,' explains vocalist Kellan Revetta. 'You know, spanning genres, all that bullshit. Plus we shower ourselves with broken glass sometimes.' 'We understand that it's pretty hard nowadays to come up with something that's completely orginal,' says bassist Drew Connelly. 'But we're not trying to break the mold; we're just writing the songs we want to hear.' Some of those songs are already in the works for Winslow's first album; the rest are going to be pulverizing audiences across the Northeast during the band's upcoming winter tour. 'We plan to tour until there's not a person under the age of 60 who hasn't seen us live,' promises Revetta. 'We don't care if every one of them hates us, but we're going to make sure they have the opportunity to make that decision.'"
