Alternative rock band Winbourne, previously Align, came together in Baton Rouge, LA in December of 2008. Vocalist, guitarist, and former solo artist Jordan Earles began looking for a group of dedicated musicians with a desire to bring a fresh, new sound to the rock world. Earles' good friend and skilled drummer, Terri Cheramie, was up for the challenge. Cheramie quickly introduced Earles to friend of old Kris "Doogie" Nicholson, a seasoned electric guitarist. With the band starting to take shape, the three found bassist Drew Miller and their final addition, guitarist Matt Cloessner, both Baton Rouge natives. The guys got to work writing songs and performed their first shows in January of 2009. In their short time together, Winbourne has already been featured in The City Social, Tiger Weekly and The Advocate publications. Winbourne is clearly poised to take the music scene by storm and has already developed an impressive fan base with music lovers flocking to their Facebook and Myspace pages to hear more. Fan favorites include "Unwounded", "Here We Are" and "So Confused". The band has been compared to the likes of The Fray, John Mayer, and Kings of Leon with a refreshingly original twist. Each member adds their own flavor to Winbourne’s matchless sound. Drew Miller, the good ole Southern boy with mean bass licks and Terri Cheramie, the ever-entertaining, energetic drummer keep the beat rocking. Throw in the captivating rifts of "Doogie" Nicholson and Matt Cloessner to the mix and round out the sound with the Southern charm and fullness of Earles' voice and you have a sound that will grab the attention of any audience.
