When Men Rise Up At The Sound Of Birds on purevolume™

December 22nd 2006 was the day that "When Men Rise Up At The Sound Of Birds" "OFFICIALLY" became a band by playing their THIRD first show at the BHS A-Commons. The other two consisted of a car accident in Wisconsin, and a certain guitarist (who will be left nameless under shame) forgot the cord to his AMP, thus leaving us unable to play both shows.

God is the only reason that we have kept going after this thing, and there were many times that we all felt it was over for us. We are very passionate about our music, and go beyond just making sweet riffs, and awesome breakdowns. Yes we can get a bit silly with a demo button keyboard opener, or an elephant noise in the middle of a song, but what we are really here for is our heavenly father Jesus Christ.

hey everybody it that bird band just postin some stuff but ok so here's what i'm tryin to say, well we are gonna be recording hopefully in april or may and we have been workin on some new songs so maybe we will be plaing them soon with luck! but in the mean time come out to a show and hang out with us and have a jolly ol' time and dont forget to BRING THE HEAT! peace love and pizza crust

sooo heres another birds update folks. The bird band is currently a three piece due to our parting ways with Chris (the bearded one) and weve not got another show until like december somethin...in brainerd. and well have some time to practice so you dont have to bear a sloppy butt birds show again...hopefully....anyway we parted ways with chris on no real bad terms. we still love him and we had a big man cuddle to get rid of any dissention there might be still around. were going to try for something special for that next show too so we hope to see you there boys and girls...

they will be missed...

the blood brothers have announced that they are going to go thier seperate ways in the near future. hopefully we can see them play at first ave on march 21st before then. tell a friend. or ill slap you.

any future ideas for names for breanna breanna?

hey folks. so i was cruisin the p-vol and i realized that we havent kept anyone posted on what the hizzeck those birds are up to. its been like 2 months....SO firstly, we found a drummer. his nombre is pistol pete. he plays the drums. we are able to play shows again, and were looking to do the weekend/every other weekend thing during school n stuff. i recently changed my name to walker for sake of shame being around a pistol pete. there is no more tim. he is now walker. not walker texas ranger...walker minnesota scenester. --dont kill me---its funny---......chris is still chris. if he wants a neat name it will be posted soon. we still have a few EPs laying around so if anybody wants em, let us know.

For plans, we want to have shirts that look snazzy within the next month or two. so if you want a bird shirt that looks snazzy sooner...buy EPs and coloring books....if we still have any. AND watch out for shows. im going to try to keep you folks up to date on the p-vol while tim...er walker will be watching the myspace mostly. on that note, i hope everyone is happy like little turtles are in the springtime. gbye.
