Hi, we're Western Front and these are some of our songs that we couldn't fit on our myspace player (www.myspace.com/westernfrontmusic). If you haven't already heard the songs on that page, please be sure to check them out next, since these are basically our rare/b-side mp3s.

* "Fuck the Rent" is a song we recorded with our friends in the Drunken Bicycle Collective for a compilation of Christmas songs. I tried to write a Christmas song for about a week leading up to the recording party and came up with literally 5 different songs. This is the 6th and final song that I wrote 15 minutes before I left for the party.

* "Leaving Electric Park Square" and "Bright Pictures/Dark Negatives" were songs from our first E.P. that we recorded in May 06, but don't really get the attention they deserve in my opinion (that's why they're on here instead of myspace).

* The version of "Exhausted" that's on this page was recorded the weekend that Western Front was formed, on Robert's then-brand new Mac Power Book G4 using the "Garage Band" program. The studio version (recorded @ Westbeach Recorders in Hollywood, CA) is on our myspace. I still think this version is MUCH better, though.
