Immediately emerging as a force to be reckoned within the Florida music scene, Mason debuted in late 2004 as a fresh form of catchy, indie, experimental rock. After they gained everyone's attention, the band recorded their EP, "Just Shake Hands" and shortly after, recorded their debut full length, "You Were Supposed To Be Beautiful". Mason immediately began touring the U.S. and recruiting a loyal fan base. After some line up changes, the band produced a demo of experimental songs titled "The Pumpkin Demo". As a collective decision, the band took a hiatus in 2007. In the meantime, Skyler and Jesse attended college and continued to make music with good friend Nick Curtis who would inevitably join the band. In late 2009, Skyler (while attending school as an aerospace engineer) contacted original guitarist Anthony Young about a possible Mason return. After winning a short-lived battle with Cancer, Anthony immediately rejoined the band that November. In 2010, Mason has reemerged with 3/5 the original lineup and a breath of fresh air to write an array of new songs for their forthcoming EP due later this year. Currently, Mason is booking a full east coast U.S tour for summer 2010.
