Years later i deceided it would be a fitting bandname and it stuck"!

The States have Vegas, Europe has Amsterdam. No surprise that the Dutch city of sin gave birth to a rock band named 'Wasted'. Over the last 3 years Wasted has slowly spread like a fire in the underbrush of the European live circuit. The Wasted sound is founded on the many shared inspirations from the bands members as diverse as Tom Petty, Motorhead, Aerosmith, the Dixie Chicks and so many others. With pre-production work on Wasted's debut album in full effect, Frank Suicide (lead guitar), Alex BL. (main Vox & Bass) and Roland Ritchie (Drums) are stepping into the limelight.
"Things fell into place the moment we found our drummer Roland on Myspace (Ooops), Frank says, "On the 16th of September 2006 we met up at the venue where we were opening for 'the Answer'. We looked completely eye to eye and invited him for a rehearsal. 5 minutes into the rehearsal i offered him the spot, Alex ads. And i took it! Roland smiles. There was no time to waste 'cause we would support the legendary Detroit band 'the MC5' on the 5th of December in the famous Amsterdam Paradiso. Continuing our high paced rehearsal schedule into early 2007 we got invited to tour with our good friends Japans own 'Electric Eel Shock'.
Frank continues, "Preparing for the road i got a call from the management team of the Bloodhound Gang, if we were interested in supporting them on their Dutch and Belgium dates. Those gigs were a blast and we made a couple of our Sinners really happy with open guest list spots. During one of those shows an A&R manager was in the crowd. Enthusiasm has always been our thing and he sent us an email that next monday morning saying he loved the show. On of May 2007 we signed a worldwide deal with the Strengholt Music Group.
At the moment we're in the middle of pre-producing our first studio album and it sounds big, written from the heart and own experience. It's a total outlet for our inner joy and rage. We're bringing that stage energy to cd for the first time. With our foot on the gas and no brakes on the fun!"
To be continued...
Enjoy Life!
