About VOLVER

When Josiah G. (Drums) and Jon O. (Vocals) met at a music-conference in 2003, they instantly hit it off both personally and musically. With the desire to realize their musical ideas, they pursued a guitarist. Once Daniel K. joined the band, the three started to experiment to find the sound they were looking for. Shortly thereafter a close personal bond formed between them and the wish to incorporate lyrics, beats and riffs into their own songs came to be. When the Bassist Lukas M. joined, the project became concrete. It wasnt long until Noemi L. (Keys) and Daniel S. (Guitars) became a part of the group and so VOLVER began.

Seeing as many of the band members knew each other previously, the music is mirrored by deep friendships. Although the bands affiliation is personal, its their goal to make good music. In that regard, the band started to progress rapidly in different areas. They were given the opportunity to work in a better band room in Biel, acquired the necessary materials and worked intensively on their new songs.

Today the band considers themselves complete and feel ready to put on more shows. At the beginning of 2007 they recorded a demo CD with three songs, all of which can be listened to on www.myspace.com/volverband. Volver's short term plans are to launch their website on www.entervolver.com and to release their brand new album "This Is What It Looks Like"
