VOkEE is creating their own style of live electronic music by merging solid rhythmic grooves with melodies from the Mediterranean, near east and beyond tied together with honest lyrical content.

VOkEE is a dynamic four-piece band out of Los Angeless NoHo Arts District in California started by Ontronik (vocals/programming). The band completed its line-up in January of 2005 with Tedd on bass, Co-Be on guitar and PC on drums. Some may know Ontronik from his days of drumming for System of a Down (original drummer '95-'97), or from his singing for The Apex Theory (Topsy-Turvy / DreamWorks). Either way, VOkEEs unique style of combining rhythms, sounds, and words into one high-intensity, attention-grabbing musical experience cannot be forgotten.

Ontronik merges the best of his past musical offerings with the limitless realm of VOkEEs musical imagination. With Co-Bes intricate guitar work, Tedds solid bass lines and PCs high-energy drumming style, the quartet offers us a dynamic blend of Electro-Groove-Alternative-music.

The bands energy on stage can be described as energetic and passionate. Bringing the music to a physical and visceral realm is definitely one of the main attractions when watching VOkEE perform. VOkEE has been consistently playing shows since February 2005 at such venues as The Key Club, The Troubadour, Roxy Theater, Whisky a Go-Go and The Knitting Factory all located in Hollywood, CA. The response from audiences has been loudly enthusiastic.

It is impossible to accurately compare VOkEE to anything else in the world of music. The message is one of positivity, and the music is both eccentric and palatable. What remains to be seen is how far VOkEE will go to push themselves, as well as the music industry, into new and refreshing territory.
