Founded in November of 2005 Vocaldrop started with Sonny Whitehead. Sonny found Ryan Turrentine singing karaoke in a local bar and knew that Ryan's voice was perfect for the songs he had written. Ron Stepp was a drummer who had all but given up hope of finding a good Rock band to be a part of when Sonny was introduced to him. After trying out several drummers, Sonny decided Ron could bring more than just good grooves to band. Rick Davis was the last member to join. Rick started out as a fill in for Vocaldrop as he was already in a band at the time. After only a few months Rick knew Vocaldrop was where his heart truly was, so he left his band and joined Vocaldrop full time. Vocaldrop was born!
