4 years ago, Brandon created his own independent label, and began recording his own solo music, as well as bands that he was with at the time. Since completing his first album "Lullabies for Losers" in 2003, and his second album, "Dead Ends and Best Friends" in 2004, Brandon currently works on his new singles from his upcoming third album, due out in mid-2006. Brandon is constantly writing new music for his 2 other bands as well. The Evermore Escape, is an 3-piece acoustic pop/emo group with an insanely crazy violinist. 12/25-MERRY CHIRSTMAS!!
ATTENTION VANILLA VILLAIN FREINDS AND FANS- Its been a while since I have recorded any actual "Vanilla Villain" music, and the reason being because i am currently in two bands (which many of you know and follow, called The Evermore Escape, and Better Off Tomorrow). All of my writing these days usually goes towards one of these bands and transforms into a full-band experience. The softer, acoustic pop side of me is released through "The Evermore Escape", and the harder, faster, poppy punk side of me is released through "Better Off Tomorrow". The truth is, however, Vanilla Villain will never die. In case many of you are wondering, yes, there will be a new Vanilla Villain CD release somewhere down the road. I have been writing a lot of material lately, some of which was never intended to be used for one of my bands. With any free time in the near future, I will be recording/posting new songs of mine as well as my two bands music, (and also some random songs from other side projects, funny compilations, etc.
I have posted a single from Better Off Tomorrow, a single from The Evermore Escape, a single from Egg Phu Phung (my experimental gangsta rap side project), and a single from some newer solo Vanilla Villain work on my myspace, and will be doing so on purevolume as well. These are just some of the newest stuff I have released lately.
I will be using my purevolume and myspace as an online database- a broadcast of brand new music that i have released, music that I am currently working on, or unreleased tracks that aren't available anywhere else.
So keep in touch all! And keep checking back from the latest goodies and fun in the pants. I am soon going into the studio for the brand new Evermore Escape album (full-band), and this summer, I will be going on a 3-week (20 day) tour with The Semester in promotion of the new albums' release.
