Now with a huge half-naked, fun-loving following, US Funk Team is taking over the world!

US Funk Team was formed in early 2003 by Jason Trzaska(Vocals, Guitar) and Matt Tank Bergman(Drums). The two had known each other for years and been in previous bands together. They began forming a sound based on their combined influences of various British, Indie, and Punk rock groups they admired. The two wrote songs as a duo until their lineup was completed in early 2004 by bassist Jeremy Gecker, whom had played in groups with Bergman and was a mutual friend to them both. The group released their first demo in July 2004 and then a second in October of that year. Both demos were well received around the area. The band began playing many shows and doing small tours in the South and Northeast U.S.A. In early 2005, Bergman left the Funk Team for the band, Zolof The Rock and Roll Destroyer. US Funk Team continued to play live with new drummers and released a full-length cd to mostly positive reviews. The group spent that Summer touring around the country. Later that year they released a split 7 which quickly sold out. In March of 2006, Bergman rejoined the band. They released a new demo in June and spent the next two months touring the country. Currently the band is recording their next full-length which should be out in early 2007. It looks to be the best Funk Team release yet.
