The record is finally done. We finished the vocal tracks Sunday and now Steve is done mixing it. We're gonna go back and listen to the finished product on either Thursday or Friday. It should be exciting. We're also thinking about adding artwork but not sure yet. Whatever happens, I think the whole band is happy with what we did and the overall experience we had in the studio. We were a little worried about how this all was going to turn out but in the end we got exactly what we wanted: an Uppingham record. Steve Barber was great to us and he really was a huge part of this. The band and I can't thank him enough. Very fun to work with, not limiting us at all and actually making our crazy ideas work! fun stuff. ANYWAY I'm rambling but I'll post another update when we get the disc and tell you about future plans for Uppingham!!
I also would like to take a chance to say thank you and goodbye to Cap, our bassist and amazingly good friend. He's heading off to Duke University(go blue devils!!) to get some more learning. Hopefully he will come back and join us again in the near future. He has been a huge part of this band and he always finds a way to put smiles on all our faces. Cheers Cap and have fun you FRESHMAN!!!
