We are Upon The Waters. We found our name in Ecclesiastes 11:1-6, were it says cast your bread upon the waters. We chose to represent that by upon the waters. In these verses Solomon summarizes that in life there is both risk and opportunity. Upon The Waters means that life has opportunities and we must seize them, not merely play it safe. Solomon does not support a despairing attitude. Just because life is uncertain does not mean we should do nothing. We need a spirit of trust and adventure, facing lifes risks and opportunities with God-directed enthusiasm and faith. We are two bands that joined together. Cory and Alex joined us after a meet with travis. Travis played some stuff with Them and was seriously impressed by Corys Vocals and Alexs style of Bass. We had come to the conclustion that it could benifit the band greatly to have those two join. They are just as excited as we are and we think you will be two. We are a christian band and love God. We want to thank Dizmas for coming and helping us out, and Brennon for doing the recording. This recording is a rough recording of us and we are laying down the vocals as we speak so we will have the full demo up here for you to enjoy also if you play the music through some headphones you can hear the lead guitar (especially the ipod type of headphones)
