After returning from their first US tour in the late summer of 2007, the four-piece from Sweden's west coast known as Union Square decided to enter two of Scandinavia's biggest competitions for unsigned artists, Bandit Unsigned and MTV Nordic Unsigned. With thousands of entries the band out classed and ran away with two victories.

Now, Union Square have stepped it up to another level. Their debut album "MAKING BETS IN A BURNING HOUSE" to be released on Warner Records in January 2009 was recorded in early 2008 with producer Christian Silver and includes 12 tracks with an explosive mix of cutting edge modern pop / punk rock.

You're definitely in for a high impact dose of adrenaline with songs like "Sirens on" and the first single "Deceit". By the time you get to "Breakout" you'll be running into walls wishing you had some coffee to calm you down - UNION SQUARE.
