Hailing from the small town of Zanesville, Ohio, playing music just isn't something these boys do for fun, it's their life.

Formed near the end of 2006 after the founding members' old band began to evolve into something entirely different, Under Watchful Eyes doesn't restrict themselves to a style or genre, but rather just writes what they feel. And while they are influenced by many bands, they manage to have a distinct sound that you really can't just compare to one alone, and definitely stand out from the constant flow of generic hardcore bands that pop up every day. Genuine people with genuine music, doing what they love most.

After surviving numerous lineup changes and a near breakup, they are currently working on new material and are stronger than ever.

The guys have toured in Canada & played shows all over the state of Ohio with large acts such as Life In Your Way, Hoods & Sleeping Giant.

We can accept constructive criticism. 2 of the songs on here were written over 6 months ago. As far as the vocals, we're going for more of a traditional hardcore feel. Have you heard the new song that's only on our myspace? That's more the direction we're heading. Apr 22

hey now I wasent trying to be a dick I was honestly just trying to give constructive crticism from my standpoint. I doubt every person that hears your music is going to absolutly love it and not see one thing wrong. Nothing against being 'different' but honestly there are more ways to sepereate yourself from the hardcore sound than vocals in one key, and uncomplicated riffs, and slow breakdowns. The truth is, you guys are good, and have the potential to be great, but right now the music is a bit boring. Apr 22
