We are UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF GIANTS

What do a wizard, a tumble weed and a pair of floaties have in common? Nothing. The genesis of UTIOG was created with three young ex calibers: Aaron Dick Bruno, Jamin John Wilcox and Drew (middle name confidential) Stewart. They all loved to evoke feeling out of music, something they found hard to find in other musical groups they were a part of the past. Its like dating different folks until you meet the right gal. When the three musketeers joined forces they had a musical version of that beginning of the relationship sex, however this never stopped for The Giants. After writing together for a year or so, they found the right feeling that they wanted to evoke from musicthe feeling that made them excited enough to listen to their own music above all others. The music The Giants continue to compose reflects their wide array of musical influences. The Giants have no musical limits, however they manage to sound like the same band. They have completed each of their recordings with producers Brad Smith and Christopher Thorn (former guitar techs for Blind melon), and after creating a heavy artillery of tunes they realized they needed a heavy warrior to help them flex their music. Out comes David Amezcua, the bass player who spends entirely to much time collecting pogs and watching the Rocky films. After the band played many shows in Los Angeles they accumulated a substantial crowd, with fans extremely diverse in age and style. From Silverlakes very own hipsters, to Hollywoods socialites and their illegitimate babies, to the majority of adult males going through mid life crises who bump The Giants while peeling out of their suburban neighborhoods in their 300ZX, it is clear that the music does not discriminate, and neither do the fans. Many people have even been found in basements crying in disbelief. In closing, Under the Influence of Giants are a group of hot guys that will force you to masturbate with blueberry jam.

This danceable L.A. band has definitely written the best disco-rock tune ever about doing it in your parents bedroom. -Rolling Stone

it all makes for an ultra-groovy mix on Under The Influence of Giants full-length debut, which just may share party-album of- the-summer honors with Nelly Furtados Loose.

LA Dandies [UTIOG] make like the Scissor Sisters crossed with Matchbox 20 and pull it off.
- Blender

On their self-titled debut album, the Southern California four-piece mixes buttery beats and rock energy with the smoothness of R&B, creating irrepressible tracks that will make
dance floor devotees whirl.
