For a couple months now, our good friend, brother and guitarist Shane, has had it on his heart to become a certified worship pastor. This being the case, Shane has come to a very tough, but very important desicision to leave the band and pursue his calling as a worship pastor. It is hard for us to hear, but we all feel in our hearts, that it is the right thing for him to do as well. So we just want to say that we apreciate everything that he has done to make this band and ministry possible. He put fourth an incredible amount of time and enery into making this work, and we would not be where we are today if it wasn't for his sacrafices. So we ask that everyone keep lifting him up in prayer, that he have guidance in where to go and that it may go well with him on his new journey!!

However, with the sad yet joyfull loss of one guitarist, comes the exciting addition of a new axeman!!!! Recently, we've had the opportunity to jam out a little with an old friend (and privious guitarist) who's playing style and sound compliments our own. And after some talking, he has decided to help us out (at least for the time being) with writing and playing new songs. So we greatfully and with much enthusiasm would like to welcome Mr. Steve Ferris a.k.a. "The Rockness Monster" to the UR family, wecome Steve!!
NEW MUSIC!!!
As the members of the band has changed, so has the sound and style of Uncommon Road's music. Latley, God has been writing some new songs through us that are on a compleatly different level than they have ever been before! A new level and a compleatly new challenging sound for us. These new songs that are being writen are much harder than that which we've played before, however, we still preserve the same melodic guitar and vocal type parts, just, with a little somthin' new thrown in. :) And with all courtesy and regards to our current fans, if you don't happen to like the new sound you hear, just remember that we are just writing what comes out of our hearts and that this is all STILL for the glory of the Lord(plus you can still buy our old ep ;). So we thank you for understaning and still supporting the work that God is doing through us, we love you!!!
Also, currently, with the help of a good friend, Mr. Sean Silva, we are proceeding to record some tracks of our new music at our church. So keep a look out for brand new songs from Uncommon Road that should be hitting myspace within' the next few months!!!!!!

No, seriously folks, it's done. We finnally put up the demo tracks from our new EP release entitled "Overshadow Me". So you can all actually get to hear us now!!! We are sooo sorry for the long long wait to get it up here, but we hope you will enjoy them, thanks.

OK EVERYONE!!!! IT'S FINNALY HERE!!!! our brand spankin' new, all done, all mixed, candie coated 6 song EP is done!!!! The CD is in mass production right now getting ready for it's grand kick off release party on Friday, August 25th, at the BC Sound Venue in Battle Creek. Some off these songs will also be put up here on our purevolume.com site to sarinade all your lovely hears as well. So you are welcome to take a listen to them and enjoy them for yourself even before you come to the release party and buy one of your own, right?!!!!!!!!
