After enduring a line-up change, things have definitely been looking up for this Miami "Kendall", Florida band known to many as "Unarmed For Victory". These four individuals together create a unit unlike any other. Aaron, Luis, Robert and Phil bring forth new sounds and unique ideas to the front-line of the local scene, blending music from metal to classical, screamo to experimental. Their music style is a wide range of heavy riffs, powerful solos, melodic catches, piercing screams and intriguing lyrics.

Unarmed For Victory looks to put out a positive spin on things in such a currently negative world, something for everyone, no matter who, what, or where -- all walks of life. At a live show, there's always a moment for the friends and fans of the band to dance or mosh [their choice].

They have had the honour of sharing the stage with touring bands such as Emarosa, Memphis May Fire, Dorian Grey, Enter The Collector, The Waking Life, Common Yet Forbidden and so forth, as well as the South Florida locals, Alice's Wonder, Kill Jasper, The Wild And Crazy Kids, Rawvia, Handgun, Beneath The Hands of War, Death By The Masses, These Arms of Faith, Faith In Fallacy, Carry On Admiral, and onward, on countless occasions.

If anything else, be ready to experience victory through music as you've never done before.

From Ghost To Victory [A Prelude]

As you can see, there's been quite some clean up going on within this band. For starters, we've recruited Raul to our line-up. He's our newest addition and drummer.

The biggest change yet though, is our name changed. Formerly Ghostbox, we now go by Unarmed For Victory.
Simply put; we needed a change. Ghostbox had gone through so many members, over a couple years, as well as the fact that we just have a new attitude and approach to our music as a unit.

We've been working on some new material, as well as re-working a couple of our older stuff. Since the addition of Raul, production has been coming along quite well.

Now, we know you've been hearing this for a while, but we have as well. We're in the process of trying to get some new recordings out to you all. We've found a place to record at, so hopefully all goes well with that. However, if there is anyone out there who'd like to help us out by helping us record a couple tracks, we would greatly appreciate it!

A Simple Update [For All Our Friends]

Just want to take a minute to say this past weekend was pretty hot. We had a great performance on Sunday at MDC's Battle of the Bands. We thank you for those of us who were there to support us, and for those of you who congradulated us afterwards.

At this time I'd like to thank Kiln Theory, and especially Pyrojet. They are pretty cool guys, and it was awesome sharing the stage with them.

Side-stories: we're looking to get booked, so please don't be shy.. send us an email, we don't bite! Also, it's a difficult process, but we are really looking to get those demos out to all of you, so please keep your hands together for that.

Keeping Track [Tracks To Come]

We just put up a short clip of one of our songs (I've Got Half A Mind Who Says You're Not). Bare with us.. we will be working on a demo CD very soon, so all these songs you hear on purevolume will be vanished into thin air soon enough (of course, it will be replaced by our newer songs).

Meanwhile, the band's been hard at work, writing new songs, and hoping to find the funds to create merch for those of you out there.

A Day Without Death [The Aftermath]

Hey guys and girls out there! Many many thanks to those of you who showed up on Friday for the Day Without Death event, and even more thanks for the support! You guys all made that show awesome, it was all about you, our friends. Ghostbox sends you the utmost gratitude...

We hope to continue seeing you at our future shows..
