"...Experimental, dark and dulcet..."
No Hope as it stood has now officially finished....
A new band is currently being put together still with the same members apart from a yet unannounced drummer, more instruments, more eclectic sound. Over the next few months, songs are being written and experimented with. Using some instruments, which previously have been completely foreign to the band with tempos and signatures we have yet messed around with. Still will sound similar to No Hope, will be in some ways a continuation on what we already know as a group. But this time, things are going to much more exiting. Definitely way more experimental.
Since the departure of Matt Keeling (Drummer) a month or so ago the band were set into panic mode... Things still at times seem a little hazy, but its way more exiting than things have ever been, we've lost our comfort zone, the one thing that has probably been the reason for us being so fuckin lazy throughout our time so far.
Heads have been spinning like crazy, sleepless nights are all around resulting in a million ideas are lingering around on scrap paper, text messages, voice recordings etc to get everything on track.
The new bands website will be placed here shortly and will feature info of all shows and will have demos of new material for you all to listen to.
But keep checking back here for the time being, random shows will almost certainly pop-up with little notice.
Songs from No Hopes first 2 eps have been placed at www.purevolume.com/nohopeselfportrait for you to listen and laugh.
Just simply so they dont just become totally lost, even if they should!
