TYSE

As long as TYSE has been listening, performing and writing music, his journey continues to be exciting. Music has always been a part of my life. But it's growing. It's becoming more in tune with what I want to do as an artist. The understanding is becoming so clear, so that's the enjoyment in what I do. And with his latest project starring in a television reality show, Gospel Challenge, TYSE hopes the fans can hear the music that interacts with their lives. I want to record my album in the future for my fans. I want to give them quality music, that's my main goal.

This 24 year old knows what it's like to struggle. Born in Nazareth, Israel, TYSE immigrated to Canada at age 6. Being raised by a single parent father for many years, TYSE had to grow up faster than his teenage male counterparts. TYSE always had a love for music at an early age, but only realized his natural ability one day while singing in his elementary school classroom. His teacher and peers were amazed by his voice; they encouraged him leading to his quest to become a Singer and Songwriter.

TYSE received R&B vocal training from the Ontario Conservatory of Music and Opera technique training from the Mississauga School of Music. He was a 1st place recipient of the Canadian Music League Annual Competition. TYSE has been privileged to train with Canadian Academy's Ian Garratt (Vocal coach to Shania Twain, Shawn Desmond & Nsync). TYSE is continuously improving his vocal ability and honing his skills as a stage performer.

Recently TYSE has been blessed to reach the final round of the Gospel Challenge (www.gospelchallenge.com) which is a 16-member choir reality show competition across Canada, making its debut on the Vision Network in 2006. Having made the choir called Purpose Driven in Toronto, he worked with choir director Sharon Riley from the Grammy and Juno awards nominated Faith Choral Choir.

With a determined spirit and focused work ethic, TYSE is on track to having a significant impact in the culturally diverse music world. With the assistance of Metal Works Studios, TYSE has just finished recording and mastering his first single "Crazy" which was co-written with Delisha Thomas, from the DARKCHILD (www.darkchild.com) team. TYSE was fortunate to write this song with Delisha Thomas, who has been accredited with writing Beyonces Dj vu ft. Jay Z on her September 2006 release B-Day, Jennifer Lopez's Rebirth, Christina Milian's It's About Time, Mya, Tamia, American Idol's top 10 George Huff Miracles, Kierra KiKi Sheard's single You Don't Know on her I Owe You album, was written by Delisha Thomas which landed a number 1 spot on the Billboard Gospel Charts.

TYSE has recently shared the stage with 6X Grammy Award Winner Toni Braxton at her sold out concert for her recent Libra Tour. In the Spring of 2006 TYSE joined the very accredited choir F2W (www.Freedom2Worship.com) they are set to release their 2nd album in Fall 2006 titled Worship 2 Freedom, lead by Colvin Chambers, F2W was blessed to share the stage with Gospel greats like Israel & New Breed, Tonex, Karen Clark Sheard and Tye Tribbett & GA

TYSE also launched & organized the Kings of Music (www.kingsofmusic.com) showcase. TYSE continues to set his sights on his dreams and has been writing a collection of songs over the years in which he hopes to deliver to the world real soon. My goal is to deliver real music, the kind of music that has longevity.
