T-Rex Planet is an electronica/dance band from the party-centric pits of Eugene. They use a distinctive blend of hard-hitting beats, poppy melodies, and smooth synths to grace listeners with an inevitable desire to get up and dance. Formed back in 2006, they were only a couple of silly high-school boys with an an idea to create catchy songs that aren't meant to be taken seriously. Fast forward a few years and you'll find the same upbeat melodies, with a more dignified approach to songwriting. It all started when two young gentlemen got interested in forming a band. They liked the same music and started playing together. They decided to form a band, T-Rex Planet. After a while of covering songs, they tried writing their own music. It was a huge success. If you're lucky, you might see them on a lone winter day, strumming and singing away beautiful melodies that are sure to make your heart melt.

They started writing songs about heartbreaks and beautiful girls that they didn't have a chance with but somehow those all came out to be songs about being gay or a dead horse.

Now these songs have burrowed deep and laid eggs into the hearts of millions who can easily relate.
