Born and raised in Dallas, TX, Trent Gentry has been singing for as long as he can remember. He picked up piano at age 7 and has progressed to a self-taught virtuoso as well as learning the guitar with the help of his own blues-licking guitarist father. Gentry had been making up melodies and words since elementary school, but did not come to realize he was songwriting until he was in high school. Upon this epiphany, Trent opened up and let ears witness the creations of his craft and was greatly encouraged to make this his life. And he has. Bringing a unique and interesting viewpoint in his songs like 'The Bedroom', Trent Gentry is an artist to watch. There's not many musicians like him out there, and he's bound to break into the music scene and change it forever.
