Trainwreck Diaries, a five-piece band from Central Alberta, invaded the all ages scene (as horror-punk band K.I.L.L) in 2000. They have since evolved into an eclectic styling of classical infused, psychedelic groove mixed with keyboard driven hardcore. The transition in name, and musical capacity, is due to the aftershock of a train wreck, involving the band members. The event fuelled their creative ambition so that Trainwreck Diaries released their third recording and first full-length album, Lost Portraits, in spring of 2004. Trainwreck Diaries has become renowned for their affinity with stirring intense performances, which have transformed their live show into more of an ambient experience. They have delivered high-energy shows with a variety of bands such as Raised Fist, Alexisonfire, Warsawpack, Honeysuckle Serontina, GFK, Wednesday Night Heroes and The Wolfnote. Trainwreck Diaries anticipate a Canadian tour in the fall of 2004, and plan to record again the following year.
