Trail of Ashes has been through it's times of good and bad and thank God we have been having a great time doing what we love and alot of good things keep coming our way. We originally started out under the name Reign of Divinity with a different vocalist and bass player. We played together for about a year or so until we started auditioning for a new vocalist. David Whipkey auditioned for vocals and played guitar as well. Shortly after that we moved him to guitar and made a good friend ( Myke) ,whos talent was extremely under-rated, our vocalist. After one practice we asked him to lead as front-man. Now, with two guitars, a drummer, and new vocals TOA has created an original, power house sound. however, shortly after the birth, TOA's original bass moved on to another band under the name of Crimson Thirst. We felt it neccesary to change our name to Trail of Ashes due to a new style and drastic change in line-up. Here recently we recruited a new bassist, Daniel, whom has been a blessing to TOA in many different ways. He has a great spirit and an awesome stage presence. We know that the GOD must be blessing us because all these great people just happen to come along and right at the right times. Everything is beginning to fall into place just right into a solid line-up.

Though other bands in our genre have been seen as negative, we like to let a light shine through us. We have adopted the Label as Christian metal, but we dont let that hender the force we excert behind what we play. Heavy songs with an even heavier message. ENJOY!
