Members: Tracie Callahan
Tracie Callahan discovered a her passion for songwriting while studying music performance at the University of Maine. She began writing while finishing her degree, then moved to Portland, Maine to put her songs to work. Performing on the city's streets and in local bars and restaurants, she became known for her sweet voice and uncluttered guitar style.
Over the years, she has developed a love of not just telling stories with music, but of taking a snapshot, highlighting a moment within the story with a song.
In 2009 Tracie launched the "Song of the Day" project, recording more than 40 songs in a 6 week period and posting them online, all in preparation for her current project, recording her first album. A New England native, Tracie is currently living in Florida, letting sunshine, cranes, melted sneakers, and a longing for home add color to her more recent music.
