Straight out of the bowels of a farm town comes a group of five musicians bent on domination. The Oxford Street Montage or TOSM (pronounced tossum) formed in the month of July year 2007. What did this band hope to do? It hoped to bring a new style to the scene. The band fuses aspects of southern rock, metal, hardcore, post-hardcore and ambient to create a live show that has been described as revolutionary. Gut wrenching vocals and melodic singing, backed by pit-moving and trace-like riffs, are perfect for the hurricane this band is brewing. Few have been able to stick a specific genre on the boys, but the band has what they do, down to a science. Sharing the stage with such bands as The Holly Springs Disaster, Liferuiner, Baptized in Blood and From Man In Ghost at gigs shows that this band isnâ€™t new and that they mean business. With music now released the boys now want to prove themselves as not only one of the freshest bands around, but one that is the most passionate.
