By pushing the envelope and expanding the minds of popular music listeners, Tool has grown legions of fans along with wide critical acclaim. This profile is a TRIBUTE to one of the bands that kept my interest in music, and encouraged me to maintain my musical instincts, despite the trends in popular music that are typified by mass consumption of the same crap.

Tool built upon what bands such as Yes, Rush, Living Colour, and Queensyche established in the world of progressive rock music and firmly placed their own stamp on it. Their influence is vast and continuous.
