Based in the northwest suburbs of Chicago, Tony Sorrentino has been making music in the local scene since 2002 when he began playing in the lo-fi band Electron Motel. After the band broke up in the summer of 2003, Tony began re-working his original songs for acoustic performance and writing new songs as well. Gaining confidence in his sense of understated lyrics and catchy melody lines, Tony recorded his initial EP "Landmarks Lost & Trails Forgotten" in late 2003 using an old Yamaha 4-track and an upstairs bedroom. Since then, he has been playing small local venues and has been constantly writing and developing his songs. In 2004, Tony formed Something for Sundown with Arjun Venkataswamy, (bass) of Electron Motel, Dan Loman (drums), and Stephen Moll (guitar).
