Tomorrow's Tragedy is an up and coming Metal band from the state of Maine, who are already making a dent in the local music scene. Playing show's with some of the state's biggest and most well known act's 'Nobis,Soundbender,Red Cloud Revival,Blue Collar Product,Unscarred,DisasterComplex,Nira May,DeadSeason' and countless other great maine bands, the band has gained a strong following that continues to build with each and every show played.
Energy,Charisma and Musicianship are something that the band prides itself on at live show's and is often something that the fan's comment on when talking to the band. These attributes have led to slots with such national act's at Chimaira,HIMSA,The Agony Scene,Behemoth,Mushroomhead & HellWithin.
Each member of the band brings something a little different to the table when it comes to influences & playing style. These things are what gives the band that 'Tomorrow's Tragedy' sound. Scott Stetson & Tylor Hunter lead the way with a duel guitar attack that helps forge the base of the bands sound while Austin Bell(drums) and Louis McLaughlin(bass) provide the backbone to each song helping to bring it to the next level and Tj Washburn(Vocals) brings up the songs yet another notch with vocals that range from Melodic to Brutal and lyric's that many of the fan's can relate to on a personal level.
2005 has seen the band play shows all over the state of Maine and also the Hard Rock Cafe in Montreal,QE. Early in 2005 the band relased a self titled demo that quickly sold out and gave a bit of a hint as to what was to come from the band. In the summer of 2005 the band began recording a full length album entitled 'Forging The Foundations' that showcases the talents of the band as musicians and also the evolution of the bands sound to what it is today,the album is expected to have a December 2005/January2006 release. 2005 also saw the band release their first DVD also self titled that has become a popular item with there fans. 2006 look's to be a promising year for the band with show's expanding outside of the state and a possible 'New England' or 'East Coast' tour in the summer and another album and dvd already being planned.
