Members: Nicole, Simone, Steph, Dunnigan, Howie, Briggs
Since 2002, this six-piece group has drawn influences from rock 'n roll, pop-punk, indie rock and ska, all the while creating their own unique sound with dual female vocals. Sisters Nicole and Simone Oliva rock audiences with their harmonious vocals while Stephanie Allen rips trombone melodies and synthesizer lines. The backbone of Tip The Van rests in the hands of the three Bryans (or Brians, depending on which one you ask) with Bryan Howard's bass-driven rhythm supporting Bryan Briggs' intricate drumming and Brian Dunnigan's wailing guitar solos.
In 2009, Tip The Van released an EP entitled, "Passion, Love, & Pride" which bridges their young horn-laced ska sound from 2006 to the more powerful and mature music heard at a live performances today. Keep an eye on Tip The Van for their new release in 2010 and check often for dates near you!
