What first began as 2 pathetic guys who thought starting a band would help get him laid has now become so much more. Its now 4 pathetic guys who think being in a band would help them get laid.

The story behind the legend that is Thoughts For Authority started off like this: It started out as Ben and Patrick jamming, thinking to themselves that they rock, as their musical talent is music to the ears.

Now all they needed was a drummer, where they found Phillip, who blew Ben and Patrick away with his killer drum solos because despite his size, he is extremely lethal with two sticks in his hands.

They were going to leave it at that and have Ben and Patrick sing but they then realised that despite playing their instruments so beautifully, were completely tone deaf and sucked at singing. So they let Michael, the sexiest singer they had ever heard, join the clique and be part of the adventure...

Then came the sad departure of Philip. Currently TFA are searching the globe for a drummer worthy enough to fill Philip's small but purposeful shoes...

A Story

Started one cold and wet day in the
midst of typical British weather
a point at which I stopped and contemplated
the world around me.

And took I the time to ponder upon the
relationship of two I know
two who are indeed close friends, but the
bond existent between themselves is beyond contemplation.

Had I awoken only to say: Tis the story
of a man from Ireland and another from
our very own country, perchance you may not
have thought the story so abundant as I believed.

But stop, listen to every word I say
hereon. Tis a story not of just one man
and another but rather more a bond
that cannot be broken.

Tis tru that years ago it did begin, with he
that bullied the other. Indeed what a
strange being destiny is, such that
the relationship turned to love.

Through fierce storm and vicious rain,
never would each be lonely again
for life was always to be that they
would take holidays and time together.

That throughout it all, whatever did happen,
whatever was thrown in their face.
They would grow stronger and happier
and would always care, and be there.

So now it is a great honour to display
the amazement I feel as a friend
of both subjects of this poem, and to remind
each reader that

throughout life

I trust that with them I shall stay good friends
but whatever happens

they shall always have each other.
