Welcome to the Official Third Hour Purevolume site. Third Hour is here for the ears of listeners of Stereotrap, Underoath, Flyleaf and Atreyu. The band has been around since summer '05. We strive to achieve in all around good sound that people will enjoy. We want our music to not only inspire but to create dreams for others within our lyrics. Most importantly we play for Jesus Christ. The meaning behind the name "Third Hour" came from Mark 15:25 "It was the third hour when they crucified him".

Dear fans,
Third Hour as a band, have decided to take a break for awhile. We feel we need to get our connection back with Jesus Christ. We have got to the point together where its about looks and music.Thats not what it should be about. It should be about our love for Jesus Christ. Once we are all on the same page again, we will return!
So pray for us that we figure this all out.

So last night we had our first concert...ever. We played a praise and worship event for the Dalmeny Community Church youth kick-off. We also played three original songs. As with all first concerts (well, maybe not all, but most), there were a few goof-ups and it took us some time to get our stuff together. We tried to record it, so if we can find enough good sound footage, we'll put it online for the world to preview.

Hey Everyone,
Tons of new stuff happening in the Third Hour World. We are happy to announce the arrival of a new member, Justin Schultenkamper on BASS GUITAR!
Since Cassandra has joined the band, we have been working hard on some more songs, writing our own, as well as practicing worship pieces. We will be soon taking these to the studio to record!
Last of all, a few shows are in the works for this summer!

Dear Fans,
I know you we're all getting excited about our participation into the battle of the bands, but we've decided that our time would be better spent writing and perfecting our new songs. So Look foward to some new songs with our new Lead Singer, Cassandra Walker, along with our Lead Guitarist Jay Weisgerber on backing vocals. Hey Friends,
Third Hour is ready to welcome a new vocalist and piano player (because the word pianist is hard to pronounce without laughing), Cassandra Walker. We're writing some new stuff and hopefully get everything down in time for the Battle of the bands. Stay tuned for more information on the progress of our writing and recording.
