THE HORUS HERESY was founded in early 2007 when Andy, Midget, Zaubi and Rapha separated from Extinction Project and united with Nico Mller who had been the singer of a band called The Fall of Eden. The keynote was to create more powerful, more aggressive music. But its much more than that. In addition to that, the band also improved their songwriting in order to increase the quality of their lyrics.
The lyrics are directly taken from reality. Social issues, personal experiences and discernal thoughts are the main topics of THE HORUS HERESYs songs. While writing lyrics, the band always tries to create deep going songs that touch the listener's mind and convey their message to the audience.
THE HORUS HERESYs first demo was released in summer 2007. The demo songs give an overview of the main idea and the complexity in THE HORUS HERESYs music.
