For awhile now, this band has been known as "Scars of Beauty," which was formed in Modesto, California in 2004. Scars of Beauty was known for its unique Pop/Rock sound and catchy tunes. But, in the summer of 2005, members of the band were going their seperate ways. But, some of these guys did not want it to end right then and there.

The band kept going: Getting new members and trying to get some form of a demo going. With all the member changes, new sounds and styles came with it. The Scars of Beauty as we know it started to change it's sound Drastically. New material started to fit together perfectly and the band worked with each other very well.

But, by the end of the member changes, only One member from the original band remained. The band could not continue with the name "Scars of Beauty," when their sound was so different from the original sound and most of the old songs were now gone. So the decision was made to change the name: Scars of Beauty became The Years Collapse. This new band has an amazing Alternative/Hardcore sound. From their Harsh screams and fast pace drums, to their slow and emotional melodies, The Years Collapse is unlike anyone else. And the summer of 2007, The Years Collapse will be on Tour.
