Members: Stephen, Mark, Ewan and Euan
'Scottish noise pop rock quartet, The Winter Tradition (formerly The Void) take influences from fellow Scots Biffy Clyro and Idlewild and also their transatlantic counterparts Death Cab For Cutie and Jimmy Eat world. Their energetic live performances are emphasised by various dynamics; mixed with unique timing and epic pauses.
With the release of their debut EP 'We'll Make Our History', the band has journeyed all over the UK building a following that grows with each return. With big names such as Vic Galloway, Jim Gellatly and Tom Robinson pushing the release, the band secured support slots with the likes of Enter Shikari, Flood of Red, The Dykeenies, Hundred Reasons and The Xcerts. The Winter Tradition have also been featured on BBC Radio Scotland, BBC Introducing, BBC6 Music, XFM and Gill Mills' Best of MySpace playlist.'
Keep you eye's peeled for the announcement of The Winter Tradition's forthcoming single and a full UK tour.
We are a band from Edinburgh in Scotland.

We hope you like what we do :)
