Up and coming young guys with very different influences in each musician makeup The Undermining. Paul is on drums with influences from the true days of punk and some of the more classic sides of rock meet the song styles of Josh the bassist/vocalist. Josh has influences from all areas, including Coheed and Cambria, Switchfoot, Fall Out Boy, 30 Seconds to Mars, Finch, Yellowcard, Straight on Til Morning, Foo Fighters, T.I., Kanye West, Mutemath as well as many others. This meets the basic skill of Jake the rhythm guitarist, who is greatly influenced by the Foo Fighters (the number one agreed influence of the group), My Chemical Romance, and Yellowcard (another major influence.) Jon the lead guitarist with incredible skill for his age, is influenced by the real rock that started it all for us. Zeppelin, ACDC, Ozzy, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Foo Fighters, Green Day, Dragonforce, Coldplay, Clapton, Guns 'n Roses, Muse, My Chemical Romance, Pink Floyd, U2 you name a rock band it's almost sure that Jon has been influenced by them. Which makes for a very interesting lead guitar.

Its us live, and that hotty on the far left, that's Jon. He's great. Oh yeah, the sound in that room wasn't very good, and the camera was in the back were all the kids who just talk the entire time were, so you can hear talking the whole time. Plus we weren' very well balanced and Josh didn't really get to warm up his voice to teh true potential I've heard him sing at, and Jon didn't sing harmony, cause he was nervous. Well, we were all nervous at least a little. Maybe not Paul, the band saying is Paul doesn't care. But I found a way to record almost professionally. So be ready.
