Thanks for coming by The Trust Project's little piece of Purevolume. We do run our own site, so feel free to contact us if you can't find what you are looking for, have any questions, or just want to say hi. We would love to hear from you. When we sat down to write this bio, we heard all of the industry "professionals" in the back of our minds telling us to write this from a third person perspective. For some it gives the impression that they are a bigger band than they really are. For us, it is a false impression that goes against what we speak about in our music. We are not rock stars and don't wish to be. We do however love to play music, and to encourage our listeners (that's you) to be open and honest in their lives. It is our goal to bring you a fresh and creative sound that will catch your attention with melodic vocal hooks and intriguing rhythmic patterns. We started out in early 2006 with the release of our EP "Breaking the Silence". As you bob your head to the tunes, you will hear the lyrics speak of our personal struggles and real life issues that we go through. We are not content to just copy whatever is popular at the moment. We want to bring our own style into our music. Our songs portray who we are and what we go through, both musically and lyrically. We hope our openness will encourage you to be honest with yourself and help you to face your own struggles and pursue a deeper relationship with God.

Food for Thought

Here is some food for thought.
Philipians 2: 12-13
12 Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always obeyednot only in my presence, but now much more in my absencecontinue to WORK OUT YOUR SALVATION with fear and trembling, 13 for it is God who works in you to will and to act according to his good purpose. ( NIV )
This is how it translates in the Contemporary English Version
12 My dear friends, you always obeyed when I was with you. Now that I am away, you should obey even more. So work with fear and trembling to discover what it really means to be saved. 13 God is working in you to make you willing and able to obey him.

For some reason, Salvation has been reduced to saying a "Salvation Prayer". However - the prayer of salvation is realizing and confessing to God that you are a sinner, and that you are in need of Him. But this is just the beginning of a life with Him as your center and not yourself anymore. Compare it to marriage. Ask anyone who is married and they will tell you. The wedding ceremony was only the beginning. That was the easy part. The follow thru to that commitment to love and to cherish in the good times and in the bad......... that is the challenge. You can't just say a vow to be married, and then not follow thru. Likewise, you can't just say a prayer and ask for forgiveness and not follow through. The wonderful thing about God though, is that He already knows we all mess up, and is willing to pick us up when we fall. And more importantly, He wants to be our friend. He longs for our company, just as much as we NEED His.
