Hey, welcome to The Tokio Hotel Tribute. This page is a tribute to the German band, Tokio Hotel. They are quite popular in Europe, but not so much in North America. Basically, they're like the Backstreet Boys for Europe, but much more talented and not so nauseating. Their sound is rock/pop. If you've listened to their first album, Schrei (that's German for 'scream'), which was done at a very young age for them (at the time, their ages ranged from 14-17), then listened to their most recent album, Zimmer 483 (Room 483), you can tell in the music that they've gone through a great deal of maturity. The music sounds more rock-like and they've achieved a somewhat deeper aspect. The lead singer Bill Kaulitz, at 18 years old, is a definite sex symbol, although his adrogynous looks may beg to differ. Nevertheless, he is still quite appealing to both girls and boys alike. Bill has an eyebrow piercing, and dyed black hair that resembles a lion's mane. The guitarist is Tom Kaulitz, Bill's twin. His look is quite the opposite of his brother's. He sports dreadlocks, a lip ring, baggy pants, oversized t-shirts and is rareley seen without a hat. Let's just say he goes for the gangster look. Then there's Georg Listing, the bassist. And no, his name is not pronounced like JORGE, it's actually pronounced like GEHRG. Georg is the oldest member of the band at 20 years old. Last but not least, there's Gustav Schafer, the drummer. He's often reffered to as the 'clown' or the 'teddy bear', which he does somewhat resemble.
